WorldTeams places dedicated remote professionals inside U.S. companies, mainly in architecture, engineering and construction. You tell us the role, we present pre-screened candidates, and you interview and choose one. That person then works on your projects in your time zone, using your software and your standards. They are not a freelancer taking several clients at once, and not an offshore team that you never meet. You know the name of the person doing your work, and it is the same person every day. The company is not a project management or scheduling tool, which the name sometimes suggests to people. It is a talent partner. Firms use it to add production capacity without making a permanent hire. They also use it to cover disciplines they need occasionally rather than continuously.
Six families, and most firms only ever touch one or two. Architecture covers Revit and CAD production, BIM modeling, construction documents, detailing, visualization and plan corrections. Engineering covers structural, MEP, civil and cost estimating, plus specialties such as HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, solar and roads. Homebuilders and kitchens and cabinets are served as their own families, because production builders and millwork shops work differently from custom practices. Then administration and accounting, sales and marketing, and software development, which are the back office and growth roles the same firms need. Every one is staffed the same way. A named professional you interview and approve, working your hours, inside your systems and to your standards. Most firms start in one family and stay there, and the ones who widen it do so after the first role has proved itself.
Five steps, and you control the one that matters. You brief us on the role, the software, and the standards the work has to meet. We search and pre-screen, then present candidates with their experience and, where relevant, their licensure status. You interview and select the person, which is not a step anybody skips. A kick-off meeting starts the engagement. Onboarding takes less than 72 hours for standard profiles, or five to seven business days for highly specialized roles. From there a dedicated Account Manager stays on your side of the relationship, and a coach supports the professional on ours. Contracts run full time, part time or flex, with no recruitment fees. If the match is wrong, we replace the person, and that commitment is written into the engagement rather than implied.
Worth stating plainly, because it is where misunderstandings start. We do not stamp or seal drawings, and nobody we place holds a professional license to practice in the United States. Your own architect or engineer of record signs, submits, and holds the professional responsibility for it. We do not pursue permits, and we do not represent your firm to a building department. We do not provide software licenses: those stay in your name and are yours to pay for. We do not employ anyone on your behalf, and this is not an employment relationship between your firm and the professional. We do not promise the performance of an individual. What we do commit to in writing is replacing a professional who turns out not to be the right fit for your firm.
With one role, on one project, where the bottleneck is obvious. The pattern is consistent across the firms that make this work. They pick the specific thing a principal or a senior person is doing that they should not be doing. They define it as a role, hire one professional for it, and evaluate after a couple of months. Then they widen the scope or add a second. What fails is a vague brief for general help. Nobody can tell afterwards whether it worked, so nobody renews it. There is no minimum commitment forcing you to start large, and contracts can move between full time, part time and flex as the work changes. Tell us what your pipeline looks like next quarter, and we will size that first role to it.
